金殿介绍

金殿坐落在昆明东北郊鸣风山上，古称"铜瓦寺"，为明万历三十二年(公元1604年)巡抚陈用宾创建。造型和规格仿照湖北武当山天柱峰金顶的太和宫，因内祀真武大帝，又称为"真武殿"。祟祯十年(公元1637年)云南巡府张风翱将"金殿"移往宾川鸡足山。清康熙十年(公元1671年)，平西王吴三桂主持重建，主要景点有一、二、三天门、棂星门、太和宫、金殿、三丰殿、秋园、钟楼、环翠霞琦宫等道教建筑以及金殿博览、茶花园、花圃等设施。
金殿，即真武殿，殿柱、门、商、屋顶等全是铜铸，高6．7米，宽、深各6．2米，净重14吨，重檐殿阁，气势非凡，熠熠生辉，明亮耀眼，故名"金殿"。其建筑体现了300年前云南冶铜的高超技术，殿旁悬挂有铜制七星旗，把金殿点缀得更加古朴庄严。展室内陈列有明永乐二十一年(公元1423年)铸的铜钟和吴三桂使用的战刀。金殿及其金石铭文有重要历史、艺术、科学价值，现为全国重点文物保护单位。为迎接 '99世界园艺博览会在昆明召开，现已扩建以金殿茶花园等为主的花卉园林、苗圃及其他旅游服务设施，它与世博公园将成为云南的重要游览区。
The Golden Temple park, sprawling for more than 2,000 mu on the Mingfeng Mountain seven kilometres northeast of Kunming, is a national forest reserve.
With a natural scenery mingled with sites of historical interest and man-made gardens, it is also a large scenic resort in Kunming. The ' 99 International Horticultural Exposition will take place there.
On the Mingfeng Mountain stands the exquisite and serene Golden Temple, 6.7 metres in height and 7.8 metres in width, and cast of 250 tons of solid bronze. It is the largest bronze hall in China.
To go to the Golden Temple, you can take Bus 10 from the North Railway Station.
